Book shelf

Bookslikes.com I like booklikes but it was not the easiest to use. It has all the books that anyone would every read and share with anyone.

What I like about shelfari is the timeline, you can rate the books you read! I also like that it has the book covers.  Shelfari was easy to use.

Goodreads has some good points, like favorite books and your friends that have a goodread account also.  Like the bookcovers, was not easy to use!
LibraryThing has great timeline and shows the bookcovers just like all the rest! Good things about this site it shows how many books in collection, how many authors and the series, this helps a librarians with titles of the books.

Biblionasium is easy to use and kid friendly!  The reports on the students login in the the reading shelfs.  I like it shows the bookcovers of all the books.  Suggested reading is great for the students to look at different kinds of books that they might like to read.  Letters to parents will help them understand how the books shelf works.  Biblionasium is the bookshelf I will suggest to my teachers and students every time! It's easy and kid friendly.

  1. It was a great idea to include how you would communicate information to parents to explain the Biblionasium resource for students.

  2. Biblionasium definitely is very kid friendly and I think kids would love using it. Do you think you can use it in your school?

  3. Biblionasium is a great idea, I think. Do you think it would be a lot of work for a teacher? Is this something a classroom helper could do? I'm thinking volunteers or students, either one~

    1. I think the fifth graders could do it in the library which is what we are going to do in stations next week! Than after Christmas Break, fourth graders will be doing it! I think a good volunteer could help but I think making the students responsible for it they will own it and use it for the rest of their school years at least.
